Its mission is to improve health and health equity worldwide with its Information Technology Services playing a vital role in achieving this mission, by serving and supporting almost 5000 users.
As a PHP Analyst/Developer you will be required to provide management and administration for the schools content management system as well as web servers/intranet/online portal and various other web related activities predominantly based on PHP technology.
Working directly with the Web Service Manager you will support, maintain and develop the University’s key CMS system as well as other web based systems and applications.
You will be involved with the full software lifecycle providing analysis, design, development, testing through to deployment. You will gain experience working on a variety of development projects, working collaboratively with the Web Team on deployment, administration and development of UI, UX and back end technology.
Experienced with Object oriented PHP, and PHP framework is essential
Experience with web back-end frameworks like Drupal or Wordpress would be advantageous.
Experience of JSON/.Net/SharePoint and Linux would be advantages but not essential
You will be a self-motivated and dynamic individual who is able to be adaptable and flexible and able to adjust to a new situations and environments
Effective oral and written communication skills ,with a logical and sensible approach to tasks
Ability to communicate with people at all levels, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users
